EUROSTRATEGIES

ERA's European
dimension

ERA's participation in Eurostrategies gives our operations a truly European dimension and strengthens our ability to support clients in the information and communications  technology (ICT) sector.

Eurostrategies is a joint subsidiary of three European consultancies, and is managed from the ERA offices in Brussels.

Eurostrategies

Each of the Eurostrategies companies is a recognised leader in its own market for research and consultancy in advanced technology sectors. The member companies continue to operate independently, as well as collaborating on joint projects, and their combined resources provide access to more than 300 consultants and economists.

In telecommunications, Eurostrategies has built up an important client base in both the public and private sectors since its foundation in 1987, and has been associated with the European Union's programme of telecoms liberalisation since the beginning.

From June 1996 to March 2000, Eurostrategies managed on behalf of the European Commission a framework contract to supply technical assistance to central and eastern European countries in the telecoms and postal sectors. These activities were part of the EU’s Phare programme of technical assistance to its future members. Eurostrategies is now part of a consortium participating in the new global framework contract for telecoms and IT awarded by the Commission in November 2000.
