form of briefings, analyses, studies, and reports are used by major multinational corporations in planning
and implementing business strategies, as well as by governments and international policy
making authorities such as the European Union and its institutions, the World Bank,
UN bodies and the European Space
Agency. Private sector clients have included Reuters, Renault, Fiat, Toyota,
Matsushita, Toshiba, Philips, France Telecom, and other leading
international corporations.

| As regards facilities, we consider
advanced office and communications technology for our own use as essential to the

network (LAN), a permanent high-speed connection to the internet, and modern Windows-based software.

In 1987 ERA and a number of other consultancies in Europe formed a joint subsidiary called Eurostrategies. ERA owns one third of Eurostrategies’ equity. The other two shareholders are InterConnect Communications (ICC) of Chepstow, UK and the Bureau d'informations et de prévisions économiques (BIPE) of Paris. Eurostrategies also has associates in several other European countries. Eurostrategies adds a European, and global, dimension to the operations of the partner companies. It is thus in a position to respond to the growing need of business and governments to take their strategic decisions in a European and global context. Eurostrategies main areas of specialisation are telecommunications and posts. |
| ERA has also a working partnership
in the area of energy and the environment with two non-European consultancies, the
Washington International Energy Group (WIEG), now part of PA Consulting,
and the Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI)
of Japan. This three-way partnership provides ERA with a truly global perspective on key issues.

Seminars and Conferences |
For the past 15 years, ERA has organised conferences and seminars on behalf of clients or on its own initiative. These events have covered many themes: the automotive sector, telecoms, the EU single market legislation, trade and industry, venture capital, the impact of environment legislation on business.
